Dash Panel

Boost Pads are items that appear in the Mario Kart Series. The appearance of these items have changed through out the games history from Flashing Rainbow Panels to Green Panels to just plain Yellow and red pads. The boost pads are used to help speed up Mario and his friends cars and they appear in many levels or very few depending on the game.

Mario Kart 64

Boost pads appear in almost every level and appear as yellow and red pads.

Super Mario Circuit

Boost Pads make another come back as yellow and red pads that like always speed the gang up. They appear in most of the levels.

Mario Kart: Double Dash!!

Boost Pads appear as flashing rainbow pads in this game but only on a few courses.

Mario Kart DS

They appear as flashing Rainbow Pads again in a few courses.

The Future

Boost Pads are supposed to appear it he the upcoming Mario Kart Wii game.
