Template:Minigame-infobox Cherry-Go-Round is a 4-player/Duel minigame that appeared in Mario Party DS. Its name is a pun on the "merry-go-round", another name for a carousel, and the word "cherry". This minigame is the third minigame in Score Scuffle.

Gameplay

All the players will have a bunched pair of cherries and must spin them with the Stylus for five seconds. When time is up, players will throw the cherries high into the air. Whichever player throws his or her cherry the furthest will win the minigame. However, if all the players missed spinning the cherry or if both players get the same score in the Duel variant, it becomes might tie.

If both players get the same score in another Duel variant that breaks the current record, it counts as a new record even though no one won, as it will say "Tie" after the "New Record" fanfare. This also applies to the other Duel minigames with a record system.

Controls

  • Stylus – Spin cherry
