Captured Syrup!

Template:Level Captured Syrup! is the fifth and final story of an additional chapter three in the game Wario Land II. It takes place inside the ruined remains of an ancient civilization deep at the bottom of the sea.

Wario has saved some time skipping the battle with Big Kamukamu, so he manages to catch up with Captain Syrup. However, the pirate leader ends up captured by Awabō and Wario has to battle him in order to retrieve his riches. Before they can do that, the player first has to cross another ruin-themed level full of angry Pecans and other enemies.

Hidden Treasure: Whale Figurine

The Whale Figurine

The hidden treasure of this level is located in the same area as the Boss Door. On the left side of the Boss Door the player should have Wario smash through the purple blocks with a Ground Pound. The treasure door will then be revealed.

The Whale Figurine was also featured in the game's predecessor Wario Land: Super Mario Land 3.

Boss Battle: Awabō

When Wario enters the battlefield he will first witness Captain Syrup float away in a bubble. Awabō then enters the battlefield and the fight begins. The player has to have Wario jump on Awabō's head three times while avoid getting touched by him. When that happens Wario will be caught in a bubble and taken out of the battlefield. After each hit Awabō creates a clone of himself. The clones are harmless but they can distract the player, who should focus on the main enemy. After enough hits the boss deflates himself and is defeated.

After the battle with Awabō, Wario will effortlessly defeat Syrup and the Black Sugar Pirates and get his treasure back.
