In Paper Mario, four Bub-ulbs give Mario Magical Seeds which create a doorway to Flower Fields. They are found in special places in the Mushroom Kingdom: one in Toad Town, one on Mt. Rugged, one in Forever Forest and one in Jade Jungle. Bub-ulbs are also seen throughout Flower Fields.
In Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door there's a Bub-ulb in Petalburg that will give Mario a Dried Bouquet in exchange for a Hot Dog from the Glitz Pit.
