Template:Minigame-infobox Break the Ice is one of the microgames in Kat and Ana's Nature level in WarioWare: Get It Together!. Its name comes from the idiom "break the ice".

Gameplay

The object of this microgame is to break an ice cube on a rope. The player's attacks cannot damage it, so they must move the ice cube into the range of a polar bear, who will punch it. If the polar bear punches the player, they will be knocked out, but the game can still be won if the ice is broken afterwards. When broken, a duck float or toilet will come out of the ice cube.

  • Level 1: There is one ice cube and one polar bear. The ice requires one punch to break.
  • Level 2: There is one ice cube and two polar bears. The ice requires two punches to break. When the game is completed, the polar bear who did not break the cube is shown to be sad.
  • Level 3: There are two ice cubes and two polar bears. Each ice cube requires one punch to break.

Suitability

Template:WWGITFit

  • Both 18-Volt's disc projectiles and Penny's Jet Tank One can keep the ice blocks near a polar bear without having to go near their punching lines.
  • Kat and Ana are unsuitable due to their constant jumping often putting them in the polar bear's punching line.
