Template:Missionbox Blast Away the Wall is the sixth mission of Whomp's Fortress in Super Mario 64 and its remake, Super Mario 64 DS. Its objective is to obtain the Power Star inside a wall.
Layout
The Power Star is hidden inside of the terrain, specifically the corner of the wall next to the rotating bridge and the sleeping Piranha Plant. The Star can only be accessed if the wall is destroyed, and the wall can only be destroyed by using the cannon. The player must use the cannon to launch themselves to the wall, causing it to crumble and release the Star. In Super Mario 64 DS, a short animation shows the Power Star emerging from the wall. After that, the player can follow the path up and easily collect the Power Star. The wall to the left of the one containing the Star is similarly destructible, though nothing is inside it.
