The Battle Spinner (also known as Battle Spin) is a slot machine in Paper Mario: Sticker Star.
Similar to Bingo! in Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door, Mario can to use the Battle Spinner in battle after expending 15 coins. It allows him use up to 3 stickers in one turn. When pressing to begin, three icons appear on the screen. The player should press to stop each icon at once. The amount of icons are matched, determines the number of Stickers can be use at once. The icon images shown randomly are: Coin, Mushroom, Fire Flower, POW Block, Thunderbolt, and Poison Mushroom.
If Mario matches all three icons, a bonus effect based on the given icon will occur immediately.
Effects
- Coin: Receive a bonus amount of Coins.
- Mushroom: Instantly recovers 20 HP.
- POW Block: Use a POW Block, may cause Crumple status on the enemies.
- Thunderbolt: Hits all enemies, may cause Dizzy status.
- Poison Mushroom: Poisons all enemies and Mario.
Trivia
- In the beta elements, the event was originally called the Battle Chance.
