Yo'ster Isle
Yo'ster Isle is a small island in Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars accessible by traveling through Pipe Vault. In the game, it is an optional area and can be easily bypassed by ignoring Pipe Vault and moving on to Moleville. The island is the home to many Yoshis of various colors. Yoshis find entertainment in the Mushroom Derby, a short race on the island's track. The Yo'ster Isle Yoshis enjoy racing and hold events often.
Yo'ster Isle is connected to the mainland by a Warp Pipe to Pipe Vault. The island is rich with vegetation, and many trees are scattered on it. No true buildings exist, but small, open shelters made of wooden poles covered with leaf roofs give the Yoshis protection from weather. Few of the Yoshis can talk to humans; only the green Yoshi can communicate with Mario, and he translates what the others can say. Besides Yoshi himself, there are few important Yoshis: Boshi, a blue Yoshi known for his rudeness, and a small, green, cookie-loving Yoshi that hatches and grows during the course of the game, though he never leaves his small nest. If Mario feeds him enough, he will eventually be rewarded with a few rare items like the Red Essence.
Boshi was once considered the leader of the island because he won every Mushroom Derby race. But with the help of Mario and Yoshi, Boshi was defeated for the first time in a race and the Yoshis began to live freely.
Along with the Yoshis, Raz and Raini, two Toads from the Mushroom Kingdom, spent their honeymoon on the island.
