Galaxy Colosseum
Galaxy Arena (Galaxy Colosseum in North America) is an arena in Mario Kart Wii, that can only be played on during special online tournaments. It is essentially a round platform situated in outer space, in a Super Mario Galaxy/Rainbow Road-themed setting. So far, only one tournament has taken place here, but another one is coming.
In the tournament which took place between June 1st and June 10th, 2008, players had to compete for the fastest time by knocking a total of four enlarged Spiked Topmen off the edge of the arena, using nothing but Triple Mushrooms to do so. As the Topmen spun around wildly, players had to watch where they drove, and could only knock them away with a Mushroom boost.
Also, in the 2nd June tournament of the 15th to the 25th of 2009, it will be the same, except the outer rings of the arena will break off, and the player has to send 6 Spiky Topmen off the stage.
According to the map of the stage, the size of this stage differs from each boss battle. This stage is the Mario Kart Wii version of the Water Arena from Mario Kart DS.
