Namco is a company that sometimes works with Nintendo.

The first Mario game they developed was Mario Superstar Baseball, which was Mario's first baseball game. They later produced an arcade Mario Kart game, which came to be known as Mario Kart Arcade GP. The playable characters consisted of the Big Eight; however, Namco also decided to throw in three of their own original characters: Pac-Man, Ms. Pac-Man, and Blinky.

Namco is currently producing a Mario Kart Arcade GP 2, which will include Waluigi and a Tamagotchi named Mametchi.

Trivia

• In Pac-Man VS., one of Namco's games, the announcer seems to be Mario.
