this isnt trip? Well, everybody call this trip McWolf 20:27, 28 October 2008 (EDT)
Yes, the more technical term for this is tripping. We need to move this. Knife (talk) 22:35, 28 October 2008 (EDT)
Where is the official source for the name? And how is "Tripping" more technical than "Slipping"? --Garlic Man (talk)
- It could technically be both I guess. With the banana peel, it is slipping obviously, but when the charcter falls on their own, I guess that it's tripping.--FREAK ~Game Freak~ OUT!
Do we even need this article? It's nothing notable, just a feature that would also fit in the game's article as well. We don't have articles for game modes, so why should we have articles for features? I suggest that this info is moved into the game article. - Gabumon(talk) 22:16, 8 January 2010 (EST)

- Technically, Home-Run Contest, Break the Targets and Multi-Man Brawl are more like minigames then modes. That brings up a question: which is more major? The minigames or the modes? Hello, I'm Time Turner.
- Then we have an inconsistency here, because everywhere else, game mode articles like those get merged into their respective game articles. Why should SSB get a special treatment? -

- Sounds reasonable.--FREAK ~Game Freak~ OUT!
I think it's called "Pratfalling" because I saw in the VS records called "Number of Pratfalls" and think it means "tripping". Eh, actually, what do you think? Ray Trace(T|C)
