The featured articles are articles that represent the best that the SMWiki has to offer. This is not a way to showcase the articles of your favorite characters, items, or the like. It does not matter where it ranks according to the Template:Link.

PAST Featured Articles

Nominated Articles Meeting Requirements

Articles must still be on list a week after being posted (see below) to be moved to the queue list or become a featured article immediately, depending on the queue.

What makes a featured article?

So just what makes a featured article? Well, we've prepared a list just in case someone should ask that, and it is as follows.

An article must...

  1. ...must have had a peer review
  2. ...be well written and detailed (but not too detailed)
  3. ...be unbiased, non-point of view
  4. ...be sourced with all available sources and appearances
  5. ...be stylized fairly nicely
  6. ...not be tagged with any sort of improvement tags (i.e. {{rewrite-wikidump}}, {{rewrite}})
  7. ...have a reasonable amount of red links; use common sense
  8. ...have a complete, detailed biography if it's a character article
  9. ...not have been previously featured
  10. ...be notable (have significant content) – sometimes complete articles like Spiny Shroopa don't have enough information available to warrant a FA.
  11. ...must be in the main namespace and not be a subpage
Note: A nomination may be canceled if any of the requirements are not met.
