A Smolderin' Stu is a type of Stu that appears in the game Super Mario Sunshine. It is distinct from Strollin' Stu due to its ability to be covered in flames, yet be apparently unharmed. If the flames are put out, it can be seen to have a reddish skin color.
Smolderin' Stus can easily be destroyed by a well-aimed squirt of water from F.L.U.D.D.. Both Smolderin' Stus and the common Strollin' Stus appear in the King Boo boss fight.
