A Flying Ghost Vase is one of the six ghost enemies in New Super Mario Bros. Wii. When the player gets close to a Flying Ghost Vase, it will turn pink and fly into the air, rotating. However, when it will eventually stop and rotate faster. After this, it will move toward the player. The player can avoid the Flying Ghost Vase simply by jumping over it. If the Flying Ghost Vase misses its target, it will continue to fly until it hits a platform or a wall, where it will break, releasing a Coin.
Flying Ghost Vases are often found in the World 3 Ghost House and the World 4 Ghost House.
