“Onward and upward!”
Talking flower, Super Mario Bros. Wonder

Talking flowers[1] are objects that appear in Super Mario Bros. Wonder.[2] They are small, orange or red flowers that talk to the player when approached; the messages they say are small reactions to what is currently ongoing in the level. Unlike the other characters, their dialogue is fully voiced, and have separate voice actors in English and Japanese. Their design is reminiscent of the Angel's trumpet flower, known for its hallucinatory effects.
