There's no proof they're shy guys now is there? They dress the same as Bandits and Baseball Boys but that's it.
- Yoshi Master

Grunts are red-colored Bandits and Bandits are Shy Guys so yeah.Knife (talk)

They only have the same clothes.
- Yoshi Master

Okay "Yoshi Master" if thats your real name, they are technically Shy Guys. They even have them hoods.Knife (talk)

Helmet's a crown?[edit]

So, the Grunt's thing here, after some machine translation, seems to call the helmet a crown. Not particularly comfortable editing the page based on some text in a language I don't even know, but it would make sense considering the Japanese name. Blinker (talk) 15:55, November 10, 2021 (EST)

Interesting. Can you post the Japanese text here in a non-image format so it may be easily cross-examined? Doc von Schmeltwick (talk) 17:04, November 10, 2021 (EST)
Sure, it says: 王冠の先がトゲトゲになっているので、ふむならタマゴを当てて王冠を脱がしておこう。食べるなら王冠がついたままでもOKだ。Blinker (talk) 08:50, November 11, 2021 (EST)
王冠 literally means "king crown" or just "crown," as the first kanji is just "king." Doc von Schmeltwick (talk) 10:33, November 11, 2021 (EST)
By the way, the same word is present in the Super Famicom and New Island Shogakukan guides. This also makes sense of Grunt's Japanese name. LinkTheLefty (talk) 14:23, November 13, 2021 (EST)
