A Grubby is a spiked form of the Bee Larva that appears in the Tree Zone in Super Mario Land 2: 6 Golden Coins. They should be avoided if possible. They can be defeated by both Superballs and Mario hitting a block they're on top of.
Trivia
- The manual of Super Mario Land 2 states "don't tread on this grub" in Grubby's description; this is likely a reference to the "Don't tread on me" phrase (commonly associated with snakes) featured on many of the United States of America's prototypical flags, such as the Gadsden flag.
