Please stop doing this. You were reminded already. We don't need paragraph upon paragraph over what people can see by looking; a picture is worth a thousand words, and going into that level of detail regarding a character's outfits is at the least completely unnecessary and at the most rather disconcerting (also your reply above didn't make any sense at all). :Even though this may serve as a warning, my recent editing behavior does NOT seem to be inappropriate by any means. Although my etiquette is still lenient enough to provide descriptions to characters' appearances or biology, you still seem to take no for an answer by all necessary means. Though there is somewhat of a strict policy that may still stand, even if anyone were to provide descriptions to the way a character dresses, some may still think that it could be still peruse to attain such descriptions, regardless of any regulations or boundaries. For you and the rest of the site staff to finally give me such a warning like this, I declare it to be somewhat flagrant and unacceptable, though my etiquette provides quality words for a character's biology and appearances. And on top of that, I have accounts on the Italian and German Mario Wikis, which will enable me to freely provide the biology details without any sort of penalization. Revision as of 15:13, May 25, 2024

Hi do you run this YouTube channel by any chance? I've been wanting to say for a while that I need to thank you a lot for the videos, the Donkey Kong ones in specific, as I'm merging Donkey Kong Wiki into Super Mario WIki. The fact that the levels are separated per video makes it a lot easier to review, let's say, the DK Coin, Bonus Level locations and such. Results May Vary (talk) 12:34, October 21, 2019 (EDT)

DKL3 levels

Hi! I wanted to ask you where the names in other languages of the levels of Donkey Kong Land came from, specifically in Spanish. Greetings! --Proyecto N (talk) 07:40, February 8, 2022 (EST)

Names in other languages

Just so you're made more aware, that section is meant for official names only. Wario Land 3, for example, only had one version with togglable English and Japanese text. If you're going to add languages that aren't evident within the game content, you need to cite sources. Otherwise, you're adding fan-translations, which is unallowed. Word changes

Please avoid changing around words on articles to more "fancy" or technical terms, especially when they stray from the original meaning, e.g. an ink marker is not a crayon (and "black eye" is an acceptable term on the wiki), "condemn" is more extreme than "scold" and has a slightly different meaning ("scold" is to tell someone off but "condemn" is to show strong disapproval, especially for something worse), and see my summary here. Verify the meanings of these words first, otherwise sticking with basic words is enough. Zero Suit Samus costume pose in Super Mario Maker Mario JC 07:09, March 17, 2023 (EDT)

Some of the colours you're adding are also not very accurate (e.g. this is not teal or teal-blue). Please double-check and compare the colours before using the terms. Zero Suit Samus costume pose in Super Mario Maker Mario JC 06:43, March 19, 2023 (EDT)

Reminder

Please stop adding flowery descriptions on the Super Mario Wiki. This isn't a warning, and it's possible that you made a mistake by accident or without realizing it; this is simply a reminder for your information. If the action continues, then a warning will be issued. Thanks for reading and keep contributing.
If you feel this reminder was undeserved, you may appeal it.

You are still using a lot of flowery expressions and terms in much of your edits. Keep your language as neutral as possible and just describe what is happening exactly without adding "twists" to or looking too much into them. Don't use captions/descriptions like "The rivalry between Mario and Wario is renewed" or "[character] is ready for action/hits the turf" (or this, when it's just a picture of Mario and Peach standing), but just say something like "Mario and Wario compete against each other" or "[character] prepares to play/arrives on the field". Navtemplates and categories

Hi, in the future, please remember to add navigation templates and categories to articles, like what you neglected to do when you created the ArtePiazza article. If you need help, you can always ask another user on their talk page. Thanks! Toadette icon CTTT.pngFont of Archivist Toadette's signature(T|C) 19:50, November 16, 2023 (EST)

Dress descriptions

Please see MarioWiki:Good writing#Fan worship. Long sections describing what Peach's dress looks like is unnecesary especially when there's a clear image of it in the article. This also applies with this edit, even though we don't have the images of those dresses yet this sort of thing should have waited until we did, at which point we wouldn't need these descriptions. Even if there was a policy whereas anyone was to refrain from adding descriptions to the way the color are or the way the characters dress, the descriptions still give a vague describing and competitive edge. Whenever someone sees what colors there might be and the way a character looks, an analysis and description seems to assume good faith, even though the site moderation may not seem to keen about it, albeit from the site's policy. But the way the moderators and other team members on this Wiki handle things nevertheless keep things up to code, ensuring that all future releases prove to be a smooth transition.
