No problem ;). uper-Yoshi
D'oh, I didn't know that the "Welcome Committee" was mentioned in the welcome template. I was the one that deleted it since the project was inactive and purposeless. Thanks for pointing it out! Blitzwing (talk · gnome work)
1: Rule 6 is complete gibberish. Feel free to ignore it.
2: 'HOLY...' I forgot to do that! Thank you for doing it instead! --Blitzwing 10:45, 22 June 2008 (EDT)
- Hey, no problem! ;P Sorry though, I hadn't known it was already finished. Glitchman (talk · contribs)
In The 'Shroom Kingdom?
Oh wait, do you mean that the world of Super Mario World is different to the Mushroom Kingdom? Oh yeah, I remembered that now, it's called Dinosaur Land or something. Silly me. I think that should be explained in the article to avoid confusion, don't you?
That's all I've gotta say. Oh, and "MOO!"
Oh man, I logged in and saw the New Messages sign, but my school seems to have blocked certain pages of the Wiki, such as my Talk page but not any other people's...I'll have to wait a while until I can see your reply. Do you know any hacking methods to bypass the message "The Requested URL was blocked"???
Oh, I won't be on the Wiki much because I'm (hopefully ) getting Brawl today.I hate Australian release dates.
Hello. While that's true, it's not what I meant. I should have said: "The first time they appeared in the Mario timeline was in M&L:PiT." The events in Yoob's Belly took place in the past. Also, what do you mean by Soler Beam? (For information on my username, see here, or, if you are of a nervous disposition, don't, as it may cause shock... hehe.) —Soler (talk · edits · edit count) 09:02, 25 June 2008 (EDT).
Man, I hate school internet filters. Yes, the game Partners in Time certainly has a confusing story, I bet the developers couldn't understand their own stories. In fact, I didn't particularly like M & L: PiT, it certainly didn't live up to the awesomeness that was Superstar Saga. (best GBA game ever, IMO) Seriously, PiT seemed so disappointing to me.
About attacks - well, in Pokemon games there is a Grass-type attack called Solar Beam, and it looks awesome for a normal attack...so I just randomly said that. If I had a special attack, it'd be like one of Dimentio's abilities, as he's totally awesome, and in my signature for that reason.
Your name is quite cool, BTW. Seriously, have you seen how crap some Usernames are? I won't mention any names...but honestly, they're pathetic. The ones I find really cool are Blitzwing, Stooben Rooben (sounds funny...heehee), but mostly the name of the Super Mario Wiki's founder....Porplemontage. Awesome name!
- I've posted this on your talk page and mine.
- Paragraph 1: I have the M&L series too, and to be honest, I find them both about equally good. Partners in Time is a bit short, but Superstar Saga's Advance Commands are too difficult for me...
- Paragraph 2: Sorry, I don't play the Pokémon series. Is it good? I play Mario games mainly, but I also have a few old PC games, like Caesar III, Hoyle Card Games 5 and the extraordinarily obscure Rolling Marbles. And... um... isn't Dimentio a sadistic psychopath?
- Paragraph 3: Oh, thanks. Yours is quite good, too. I'd agree with you on those other usernames, also. —Soler (talk · edits · edit count) 02:58, 27 June 2008 (EDT).
Yes, That's What Makes Dimentio AWESOME!
Because he's like me...except I can't do magic and I'm not as psycho as him. SUPER
Oh, my Username is simply my nickname, the shortened version of my real name. I did this partially to prove to people that it's really me...if that makes sense? SMASH
Well, I dunno why...but I've completely ignored PiT in terms of replaying. I've done PM:TTYD 9 times, SPM 6 times, M&L:SS about 5 times, Pikmin 2: 8 times, Pikmin - 4 times, etc...but PiT only twice. BROS.
Seriously, SSBB is so awesome that it makes my head explode from too much extreme awesomeness. Did I mention that it's awesome?
Oh, and I have 3 weeks school holidays, so you can post just on MY page now.
Now For My Non-Hyperactive Side
In real life, I'm actually the opposite - very dull and lazy about most things - but I get very excited when playing new games.
A confession: I always ignore disclaimers... are you suggesting it's bad that I mention the site on my page?
You don't have a Wii.....man, that must be pretty dull. I hope you can get one as soon as possible. I got mine for Christmas 2006.
Although the DS is a great piece of hardware, with plenty of excellent Nintendo games. I've found it very useful during some recent power-cuts. So, I hope you at least have a DS.
I'll admit I like evil characters much more than good ones - they have cooler names, attacks, and they're just cooler. I think Darkenesse sounds better than Holy Light, for example.
My Pokemans - You'll Regret Asking About That...
Because I'm known to rant about Pokemon with no end.
Well, in my opinion, Pokemon is EXTREMELY AWESOME - and I'm not the only Pokemaniac, as it's the second-best selling game series in the world, behind Mario of course.
However, it depends on what kind of gamer you are...
If you're a hardcore gamer, this game will become extremely addictive and you'll get heaps of mathematical formulas and strategies in your head. There's a lot of maths in Pokemon, no kidding. (For example, the chance of finding a Shiny Pokemon is 1 in 8192. They're SO rare. I've got one...but you wouldn't know how since you don't play the games yet)
There are many different aspects of Pokemon, not just battling. Training your Pokemon with their movesets, Effort Values, Base Stats and Type in mind is important (BTW, Effort Values are a hardcore aspect), if you want your team to be at its full potential. For movesets, some n00bs would choose 4 attack moves of high power, thinking they're smart. Wrong - high-power moves often have lower accuracy, which can really screw you up. Plus it's useful for at least one of 4 moves to be a stat-boosting or status-affecting move. I could go on about this forever...
And Pokemon is the most lastable game ever, after completing the story part of the game, you can try to catch all 493 Pokemon (practically impossible for many reasons), or win 100 consecutive battles at the Battle Tower (my current goal - I'm only on 36 as my record).
Anyway, I won't always respond as quickly, I have restrictions on how much time I can spend on my dad's internet computer/japoota.
And about Dimentio - I'll admit that applies to me to a small extent, and I mean small, so don't worry. (I hate school, so I consider it evil)
I'd just like to thank you for the wonderful idea of using split templates in place of the cropped Fire/Ice templates I was planning to employ. I had wanted a way to keep the fire/ice-related creatures included in the templates because it is valuble information in its own way, but I couldn't think of a way to do that on my own. As I said in the Proposal (and its Comments) and on my Template page, I took your idea and ran with it, producing the two split-templates I now hope will replace the current Fire/Ice templates. You've been such a big help, and if you have any more comments or suggestions, please tell me. If not, I'll take it from here. Thanks again! - Walkazo
