Cranky Kong[edit]
As far as I can tell, Cranky Kong is not the Donkey Kong in the Game Boy Donkey Kong game. The DK line is a little screwy at that point, but this DK wears a tie, while Cranky does not.

- Donkey Kong's appearances before Donkey Kong Country are technically Cranky Kong, but that's moot: as the top of the articles state, the Donkey Kong article covers general appearances as Donkey Kong, and the Cranky Kong article specifically covers the Cranky Kong appearance.
