Template:Ref needed

Use {{ref needed}} for general statements.

For more specific categorization, the first parameter can be set as follows:

• {{ref needed|date}}: Category:Articles with unsourced dates
• {{ref needed|rating}}: Category:Articles with unsourced ratings
• {{ref needed|name}}: Category:Articles with unsourced names
• {{ref needed|foreign name}}: Category:Articles with unsourced foreign names
  • {{ref needed|LANGUAGE name}} where the LANGUAGE is a valid subcategory of the above (e.g. {{ref needed|Spanish name}}).

Note that this tag should be completely omitted within templates with built-in date tracking (infoboxes and {{flag list}}), full name tracking (company infobox), and foreign name tracking ({{foreign names}}).
