Clearly a unofficial name, but I'm curious[edit]

Fanarts 2

So, they are unnamed in the manga they appear in, that much is clear. However, in a fanart in Super Mario Land 3: Wario Land 3, they are given the name "Fairly A & B" in the drawing. Surely this is irrelevant, but I'm curious: can these names be technically used (since they appear in an official publication, approved by the author, and various semantics and technicalities we all love to point out in these talk pages, etc...) or we treat it as a fun fact like now? @Mariuigi Khed so, to clarify. the fairies are never named within the manga itself, but in the "reader's submitted fanart" corner, they were named "Fairly A & B" by the submitter. that picture was featured in the fanart section, making for a sort of official approval of the name? did i get that right? — eviemaybe Tanooki Mario's tail, cropped (talk) 15:07, February 5, 2026 (UTC)
More or less, yes. I'm just curious to know if this roundabout reasoning would stand. My avatar's face to use in the signature Mariuigi Khed 15:14, February 5, 2026 (UTC)
