Recently, I re-encountered these enemies in-game during an otherwise unrelated quest, and after analyzing their overall design, as well as some other enemies like them, I believe this enemy may have originally been intended to appear in Castle Bleck. (And possibly the Headbonk Goombas as well, but I don't think the evidence for that is quite as solid.)
However, I don't have the ability to check the game's code for any supporting information which could corroborate this claim. Can anyone with deeper knowledge of the Super Paper Mario's internal structure verify any info related to this issue? Wandering Poplin (talk) 06:04, March 6, 2026 (UTC)
