“Dream World” or “Dream Worlds”[edit]
I have a question about the dream world (38 second mark), I keep looking through some of the game clips, and during dialogues, they talk about how there is “the” dream world and at times where there are “each” dream world, I am confused, is there only one or are there different ones or multiple Dream worlds within the main dream world?--CNBA3 (talk) 08:56, October 9, 2019 (EDT)
- There's only one Dream World, which contains all dreams that take place within Pi'illo Island. However, each one of the different manifestations of the Dream World in one dream may also be called dream worlds. Cobalt David (talk) 17:13, March 2, 2021 (EST)
Move to "dream world"[edit]
The current article name is Dream World, with the term in title case. In-game, dream world appears to never be written in title case, so the article should be moved. The opening quote in the article from the game even says "dream world" in lowercase. For more examples, this is part of the text from Dreambert's essence when entering the dream world for the first time:
You are now...entering...the dream world...
For another example, this is the prompt when approaching a Dreampoint or petrified Pi'illo:
Go to the dream world?
For another example, upon entering Eldream's dream, Dreambert says this:
I sense we will find Eldream somewhere in this dream world.
For another example, this system text is displayed when Dreamy Driftwood Shore is expanded using a Dream Egg:
The dream world has expanded!
Mainly including these quotes to show that I'm not making this up. --Spencer PK (talk) 10:21, June 11, 2026 (UTC)
- Self-reply: promotional material, like the English website, formats it as Dream World. Promotional material not being consistent with the game is probably why the article name is at the current capitalized name. The capitalized name does have weight behind it now because of this and deserves a mention on the article, but the game still does not appear to format it like this. --Spencer PK (talk) 17:17, June 15, 2026 (UTC)
