Judging quality of attack?[edit]

Prior to the 17:15, November 15, 2025 revision, this article said on the matter of Corkscrew's quality that, "The attack does a significant amount of damage if performed at the proper time, often leading to combos, but the attack is mainly thought of as a recovery move". In the 17:15, November 15, 2025 revision, I changed it to, "While Corkscrew can deal a significant amount of damage, the attack is not rewarding enough to be worth the risk falling helplessly creates, so players usually only use Corkscrew in order to recover".
I would rather just remove the line entirely. Corkscrew is middle of the road up special, in that I don't think its deficiencies are worth making a fuss about. The move is fine. Not especially good, not especially bad. In fact, the move is very usable as an attack... in the very relevant (sarcasm) Multi-Man Smash modes. In Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Century Smash, the looping hits are weak enough to keep the Fighting Mii Team from falling out of the attack, while the final hit is strong enough to KO Fighting Mii Team. In Super Smash Bros. Ultimate All-Star Smash, connecting with all looping hits and the final hit KOs almost every opponent from 0%, a godsend in an endurance match like All-Star Smash where the opponents can survive a solid number of attacks to continue to wear the player down. If Corkscrew has legitimate uses as an attack like this, then I think saying that it is "mainly thought of as a recovery move" is incorrect. I would really rather just say something to the effect of "Corkscrew deals significant damage, especially through all of its spinning hits" and leave it at that instead of judging the move.
