Description reasoning & request[edit]
If you're wondering why the descriptions I wrote seem inconsistent, that's intentional. They are very deliberately based on the tutorial for each move and anything that immediately comes afterward without an additional explanatory cutscene. This is why Spin Jump in Bowser's Inside Story notes Whirlwinds while no other description does. That game introduces Whirlwinds at the same time as Spin Jump: their tutorials are one and the same. Similarly, there's a wheel in Peach's Castle for Bros. Ball that Toadsworth points out after the tutorial. With no tutorial between learning Bros. Ball and encountering that wheel, I can only assume the wheel is secretly part of the initial tutorial, and so Bros. Ball activating wheels goes in the description.An exception to this is the "dig out beans" function, which I figured was important enough to break rank for and list even when that is a separate tutorial.
As an aside, + Bowser's Minions and + Bowser Jr's Journey have "guide" features which presumably list out these moves. It would be nice to have those descriptions to mirror "Unlock text" for Dream Team. Salmancer (talk) 08:10, December 30, 2024 (EST)
