The Crate Pianta (also known as the Crate Guy) is a tan pianta that wears glasses in the game Super Mario Sunshine. He only appears in Delfino Plaza in the crate arena near the Shine Gate. When Mario enters the crate arena, the tan pianta will want to ask Mario if he would take on the crate challenge. If Mario broke all the crates by ground pounding on them, the Crate Pianta will give him a Shine Sprite as his reward for breaking all the crates.
