Stanley the Bugman.

Stanley the Bugman is an exterminator and the protagonist of the game Donkey Kong 3. In this game Stanley uses his Bug-Spray Gun to do battle with Donkey Kong (or possibly Cranky Kong) and several insects in a greenhouse. Eventually Stanley managed to defeat Donkey Kong and presumebly sent him back to where he came from.

Aside from the various ports and remakes of Donkey Kong 3 Stanley has yet to make another prominant appearance. A trophy of Stanley can be obtained in the game Super Smash Bros. Melee, Stanley also appears in the Game & Watch game Greenhouse.

There have been rumors that Stanley is Mario's cousin or step-cousin. Some people even say Stanley is Mario's brother. But these rumors have never been confirmed. Oddly one computer game containing several video games from the eighties's says that Stanley is actually Mario's nemesis, despite the fact the two have never met in the games.

It is interesting to note, the official artwork of Stanley, shows him wearing red overalls and a blue shirt the original clothing of Mario back in the Super Mario Bros..

Stanley also appeared in a micro game in WarioWare: Twisted
