Red POW Blocks reappear in ''[[Super Mario Maker 2]]'', albeit only in the ''Super Mario 3D World'' style and instead behaving like they did in ''New Super Mario Bros. 2'', so the locations of Hidden Blocks are no longer shown. They can now be carried much like normal POW Blocks. Version 3.0.0 introduces [[Red POW Box|Red POW Boxes]], wearable Red POW Blocks that activate upon hitting blocks three times before vanishing, and just like the actual block, it is exclusive to the ''Super Mario 3D World'' style.

In ''[[Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope]]'', Red POW Blocks (known simply as '''POW Blocks''' in-game) appear as items that can be bought, received after clearing battles or found while exploring. In battle, heroes can throw them at enemies, dealing heavy damage and destroying cover in an area.

If the game is linked with an Ubisoft Connect account, a POW Block can be added to the player's inventory by redeeming 30 units upon clearing the prologue.
