"Mario no Daibōken" is the side A song of the albums Mario no Daibōken and Mario no Daibōken/GO GO Mario!!, both released in 1986. It is sung by Aya & Nakayoshi Ōendan. The lyrics are credited to Mario Club Yūshi and the music composition is credited to Super Mario Band.[1]

The song uses various themes from Super Mario Bros. such as "Ground BGM" for most verses, "Castle BGM" during the introduction and a speech from Bowser, or "Underwater BGM" during one verse. However, the chorus is set to an original composition. The song ends with a young girl reciting Princess Peach's speech from the ending of Super Mario Bros.
