"Mario no Daibōken" is the side A song of the albums Mario no Daibōken and Mario no Daibōken/GO GO Mario!!, both released in 1986. It is sung by Aya & Nakayoshi Ōendan. The lyrics are credited to Mario Club Yūshi and the music composition is credited to Super Mario Band.

The song uses various themes from Super Mario Bros. such as "Ground BGM" for most verses, "Castle BGM" during the introduction and a speech from Bowser, or "Underwater BGM" during one verse. However, the chorus is set to an original composition. The song ends with a young girl reciting Princess Peach's speech from the ending of Super Mario Bros.
