The Kinoko Kaikyō Unga is a canal that appears in Super Mario: Yoshi Island 3 of the Super Mario Kodansha manga.
After being dragged away by the waves, Poochy ends up absorbing a lot of water, growing in size, and ends up under the seabed of the strait, with only his paws wticking out like coral reefs. The Q. Peach, while traversing the strait, ends up trapped by his paws. The Yossy Helper Team, the Yoshis, and Kamek get to work to help unstuck the ship, and when a oil tanker with broken brakes enter the strait, Baby Bowser turns into Mega Baby Bowser to hold it from colliding with the Q. Peach. In the end, Baby Mario, through his Powerful form, raises up both the ship and Poochy. Mega Baby Bowser's form expires and the oil tanker passes by without causing any damage.
