Uh, do we REALLY need this artwork? I mean, REALLY? Xiahou Ba^{(the Nasty Warrior)}

It's official artwork from the game, even if it does seem a little obscure. And I don't see what's so bad about having it...

Eh, same with uploading textures of stuff from games. They're official too. I just find grass a little superfluous imo Xiahou Ba^{(the Nasty Warrior)}

I believe it's a different case with artwork, though. One could upload a very large amount of official sprites, screenshots or even textures, but we might not have a use for all of them. Artwork, unlike screenshots, etc. are unique, and we don't always upload it just to use on articles. We try and collect every piece of game artwork we can find, and stick it on the gallery. That's been the trend for a long time. So, even though we might not have a particular use beyond the gallery for artwork such as this, it's certainly acceptable to cover.

But I can also argue that this serves little use to the wiki, regardless if it was official or not. I think all artwork uploaded other than this has some gameplay significance of some sort. This does not. I don't think there's any other artwork that's as insignificant as this. It's nearly on the same level as uploading a texture of a big cloud or the moon, and frankly, I think this is useless. Xiahou Ba^{(the Nasty Warrior)} 22:57, 26 October 2013 (EDT)

Even if this artwork is useless, maybe we should keep it for... I don't know... covering Mario with a lot of green toenail clippings... I mean, grass. I'd be bothered if somebody uploaded 30 different artwork of grass, but this is just one artwork; it's harmless, even if it is useless.
