Concept art of the key artwork that appears on the Famicom boxart of Super Mario Bros. This was captured in a 1994 episode of Capital, which focused on Nintendo's Japanese headquarters. It features very early designs of Bowser and Princess Toadstool. A bearded, mage-like figure appears in the bottom left of the image. No character like this appears in the final game, but he bares a striking resemblance to Kinoko Sennin from Super Mario Bros.: Peach-hime Kyūshutsu Dai Sakusen!, the anime movie adaptation of Super Mario Bros.
