This category existed before the creation of Category:Mario Party 5 capsules, Category:Mario Party 6 Orbs, and Category:Mario Party 7 Orbs, all of which were made following a proposal to make inventory items a distinct subcategory of items for video games. Currently, subjects that have one of the game specific categories still have the category for "Orb" overall. Should they? Salmancer (talk) 21:27, June 24, 2025 (EDT)
- Category:Karts is an example of a category where the base one is (mostly) empty because all of the karts are in per game categories like Category:Mario Kart 7 karts. Salmancer (talk) 05:16, August 12, 2025 (EDT)
