Appears in Family BASIC V3

Bound Bonbon is an endless minigame playable in Family BASIC V3. Instructions to code the minigame were published by Hudson Soft in the magazine Nintendo no Family BASIC Nyūmon. The minigame plays similarly to Color Ball.

Gameplay[edit]

Upon starting the game, controls Mario and must defeat a series of enemies that bounce progressively faster. Three enemies always spawn before their speed increases; a Nitanita always spawns first, followed by a Fighter Fly, followed by a Fire. Each enemy bounces lower than the previous one. To defeat an enemy, players must press the A Button button to cause a chain to spawn above Mario. This chain will defeat the enemy if it touches it. Every time the player defeats one of the groups of enemies, fifty points are added to their score. Once the player loses all three of their lives, a screen will come up showing the player's score, in addition to providing the option to play the minigame again.
