Gourmet Guy
Gourmet Guy is a rather fat, always-hungry Shy Guy working for Bowser. He can be easily bribed by giving him a delicious Cake.
He is first seen in Shy Guy's Toy Box during the events of Chapter 4, Gourmet Guy won't let Mario pass the path unless he has the Cake in his inventory that Tayce T. cooked for Mario and for returning her Frying Pan. When Mario gives the Cake to Gourmet Guy, he starts to be hyper after eating the Cake; then he starts flying around area like a rocket; bouncing all over the area, dropping a Cookbook Mario can obtain to give it to Tayce T.
He later appears in Princess Peach's Castle after Mario defeats General Guy and his Shy Guys. When Princess Peach enters the room, she sees Gourmet Guy. When he sees her, he first thinks that he would report the event to Bowser when Peach escapes the room. But then he was hungry, since Peach doesn’t have any ingredients ready to cook, Gourmet Guy lets her borrow the Castle Key so she can bake him a Cake which the kitchen is at the first floor. After Peach obtains the Castle Key from Gourmet Guy, he warned to her that there are guards who have flashlights on at the first floor as Peach attempts to be careful not to be caught.
When Peach and Twink comes back to the room with the Baked Cake, she gives it to Gourmet Guy. When he eats the Cake, he starts going wild; rushing by the area on the screen as the cake is too "Too Delicious!". When Gourmet Guy is done with the sugar rush, he tells Peach and Twink that one of the Star Spirits; Misstar is recently inside at Mt. Lavalava on Lavalava Island. He also tells Peach and Twink that there is also a Lava Piranha guarding the Star Spirit as he recommends that Twink tells the information to Mario. When he is done giving the information to Peach and Twink, he briefly mentioned that he doesn't like Mario because he gave him the Cake eariler as he gets out of the room.
Gourmet Guy may be a species of Fat Guy.
