The Diploma is an item in Paper Mario. After receiving the Fourth-Degree Card, Mario can fight The Master one last time. Winning this battle will net Mario the Diploma as proof of his strength. With a Diploma, certain characters' dialogue will change; they will react with awe and reverence.
