Wiggler Bounce

Wiggler Bounce is a boss minigame found during the events of Mario Party 9.

Introduction

Every player is in a forest area. A Wiggler then walks out of the trees and the bushes. Then, two Piranha Plants show up.

Gameplay

The objective is to Ground Pound the Wiggler's body segments while avoiding Wiggler's head or any Piranha Plants which will deduct one point off the score. Purple marks are 1 point each, while red marks are 3 points each. Soon, after Wiggler's health is at orange, Wiggler will start to get mad, turn red and moves much faster than before, making it harder to Ground Pound a body segment. To make it even difficult, three Piranha Plants show up, too.

Ending

After the Final Attack is done, the Wiggler will turn yellow, fall to the ground upside-down and disappears revealing Mini Stars.

Rules

Ground-pound the segments of Wiggler's body to deal damage. The segments with a purple mark are worth one point and the segment with a red mark is worth three.

Controls

Hold the Wii remote sideways. Press D-Pad to move, 2 to jump and 2 while jumping to perform a ground-pound.
