Whisker

Whisker is a character in Mario Tennis: Power Tour. He boasts the second rank in both Varsity singles and doubles at the Academy. Despite losing to Clay or Ace in singles, he still manages to gain a spot in the Island Open. However, he loses to Chas from Union in the first round. In doubles, his partner is Paula.

Shortly before the tournament, Tori's arrogant confidence in Elroy's skills sets him off and almost gets him into a fight. Holding a slight grudge afterwards, he cheers for Clay or Ace, wanting them to defeat Elroy. Similarly, in the doubles tournament, though he doesn't get a spot in the tournament ladder, he cheers for Clay and Ace after Tori's usual behavior.

Whisker loves a good challenge, and though he'd rather win, he doesn't hold a grudge over losing--as long as his opponent doesn't let the victory go to his/her head. He tends to take advantage of his large build--naturally, he's a power player. He also expresses that strength when he comes close to picking a fight in the Island Open. If there's one thing he can't stand, it's conceit. Despite his vulnerability to Tori's attitude, he's typically a very kind person.
