Utter Nonsense

Template:Minigame-infobox Utter Nonsense (Soundalike Star in PAL regions) is a General minigame in Mario Party: Island Tour. This minigame is the only one that requires 2 to 4 human players to play. The name is a pun on the term "utter nonsense."

Introduction

A roulette spins from the ten playable characters that shows who the player is going to imitate. After a few seconds, it stops on a specific character's image and the minigame begins.

Gameplay

Like in The Choicest Voice, the players use the microphone to imitate the selected character's voice. The voice clip will be played and a 3 second countdown will commence before the players imitate. After the countdown finishes, the players can imitate the character. Finally, the game will rate the voice recording from a score of 0 to 100. Whichever player gets the higher score than the others wins and the winner's imitation plays. Something similar happens in Bowser's Peculiar Peak, where if the player ends his/her turn on a Bowser Space and the wheel stops at "Imitate Bowser's voice," the player needs to imitate one of Bowser's voice clips.
