Greetings, everyone! The name is M. C. -- Merit Celaire! I'm new on the scene in the Mario Wiki community because I've a dedicated Mario game series fan from day one! I'm grateful to snag the opportunity to help this place out by adding/editing info while at the same time making sure it's accurate for everyone. Let's just say some friends from other places "convinced" me to trust this Wiki site as well as join in on adding to that trust.
The "Mario Series' Gals" Support
Granted, I like all of the Mario series' characters and the entire series itself. However, it's double that or more in terms of the Mario series' gal participants! I have a detailed explanation as to why, and it can be found on this separate page in terms of my planned editing sessions here on the Super Mario Wiki.
List of Mario Series' Installments That I Have
This is a list of the Mario installments I have in my library as of May 25, 2010. This list now includes the Nintendo Wii games currently in my library (since my obtaining the console on Monday, October 6, 2008). As of the date of this update, I now have all of the existing Mario series' installments for the Wii system; I've finally caught up! Mario Series' Installments I'm Keeping Tabs On (Or "Targeting")
Well, great news -- as of October 6, 2008, I finally have a Nintendo Wii system. Now comes the grueling task of getting the Mario series' games I am seriously missing out on (which are listed below). In the meantime, I have been keeping tabs on Mario series installments that have been released, or are yet to be released (especially in terms of game media itself, hoping that I can still update this Wiki with confirmed facts). I'll sort the games that I'm looking out for, in terms of priority.
HIGH PRIORITY: Super Mario Galaxy 2, Mario Sports Mix
MEDIUM PRIORITY: Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story
LOW PRIORITY: None
Keeping Close Watch On Info Regarding Mario Super Sluggers
At this time, I've been keeping tabs on editing and/or adding info in regards to Mario Super Sluggers. So far, I've managed to do the following:
- Recategorize the main artworks section for that article.
- Add in an article focusing on the Baseball Kingdom locale.
- Started an article focusing on the 4 Challenge Mode cutscenes for the game, which has now been merged with the main Mario Super Sluggers article (located here) via proposal; the majority said it was better this way; and it makes sense now because of getting confirmed info about how this section of the game works.
- Added and/or modified information on the gal participants for this game from NOA's official online card website in relation to it.
UPDATE (1/9/2009): Well, I've been trying to play the Mario Super Sluggers game every chance I get; to those that say that this game is worthless - I BEG TO DIFFER!
Dang, I forgot to update this part of the userpage - well, I've prevailed a few months back before 2008 closed to get the entire "Movie List" for Mario Super Sluggers' Challenge Mode statistics accounted for. Big relief right there. Still plan to play it from time to time, but right now, I have to see about checking through the gameplay tutorials for Mario Strikers Charged. Yeah, I hate the "intensity" of said game, but it wasn't enough to discourage me in terms of seeing what this gameplay is all about.
Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Winter Games
As said earlier, I'm also keeping close watch on Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Winter Games now more than ever -- especially after seeing the possible opening for this game (Wii version). However, it's going to be double that in regards to the female characters for this game (Peach, Daisy, Amy, and Blaze); more details on my sub-page for the Mario series' gals -- specifically, here.
As for the game itself, I managed to get the Nintendo Wii version of this game; just dealing with getting used to the game's controls at this time. And as stated earlier, I've managed to score the DS version of this game -- and the "Adventure Tours" mode is in no doubt addictive.
Patroller Duty Nailed!
On February 4th, 2009, the MarioWiki admins have NAILED! me with the Patroller status. Thanks to everyone for your support! (I must now investigate what I'm able to do with this new job.)
Sysop Duty Nailed!
On September 21st, 2009, I was nailed with Sysop status for the Super Mario Wiki. Once again, it's a huge honor for me to help out around these parts - but my focus will still be on keeping facts straight about the Mario females and any other articles in relation to them on this Wiki.

In conclusion, it's my hope that my Mario series' expertise will come in handy around these parts. As for myself in regards to posting and editing information on this Wiki, it'll still be in terms of standards, but you'll still encounter my full enthusiam here on this userpage and on my related talk pages.
