Triangle Twisters is a puzzle mini-game that can be unlocked in Mario Party DS. Players can unlock this mini-game by completing the Story Mode. This mini-game has two modes: Focus Mode and Frenzy Mode. In Focus Mode, the player will have to create arrangements of triangles within ninety seconds. In Frenzy Mode, the player will have to get rid of as many triangles as possible within sixty seconds to get to the next level.

- D-pad-Choose
- A/B- Spin
- L/R- Scroll
Rules
Twist triangle clusters with your stylus to connect four or more triangles of the same color, which will clear them from the field.
Tips
You can make not only chains but also triangles and hexagons, so watch for every opportunity to connect tiny triangles of the same color.
- Any four or more triangles: 40 points or more
- Big Triangle: 200
- Hexagon: 500

Twist triangle clusters to create the patterns that are shown on the top screen as you play.
Tips
You can press X to restart a problem. Take your time, because if you connect four or more triangles incorrectly, you'll lose time and have to start over!
- Level Clear: Same as Frenzy Mode
- If four or more triangles make a match but, is not on top screen: -10 seconds
