Time Bob-ombs are small red Bob-ombs with digital timers on their faces that appear in Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga. They appear during the boss battles with Roy Koopa, Wendy O. Koopa, and Larry Koopa in Bowser's Castle. They do not attack the Mario Bros. until the digital timer on their face reaches zero. When it does, Mario and Luigi are instantly knocked out. The timer counts down from 8, and the brothers have only eight turns to beat the Koopalings.
A Time Bob-omb sneaks up behind the bros after they supposedly "beat" Bowletta. It self-destructs in between them, knocking them out instantly, which allows Bowletta to suck them into her stomach, where they fight Cackletta's Soul.
