Hello, Brawlers, what's up? It's time for BRAWL TACTICS!
This month I will be doing the stage Port Town Aero Dive.
This stage is one of my favorites to use. It is a stage that moves around A LOT, so the size of the stage varies with each new location it lands on. Also adding to the fun are the F-Zero racers (Strangely, I never see Captain Falcon there...) who will hit you, resulting in both high damage and launch power. My best advice to avoid this is to go to the very edge of the track, since none of them go that far out of their way to hit you. Even standing on the platforms that are above might not work, since some of those racers have tailfins and spoilers on their cars which can knock you off. You can get the edge on your competitors by knocking them in front of these racers. Try it and watch the fireworks!
Since this is a moving stage, it is very easy to get left behind. ALWAYS get on the platform, because when it takes off, it's hard to get back on without taking a lot of damage. Sometimes you'll just get KO'd. This can work to your advantage. If you can knock your rivals off in certain places, such as the 90 degree drop, they will just be left behind and KO'd, if they are just standing on the ground. If they're in the air, however, they will be brought along with you, so be careful.
When using Final Smashes, like Donkey Kong's, just make sure your character has a steady spot to land on when they finish the Final Smash. If you don't plan it out well enough, they will plummet to an unsavory end. If you can kick your opponent off, however, use it to your advantage and KO them for good!
