So this has the exact same purpose and Japanese name as the Fright Mask, with the latter basically being "go away." Anyways, the English name change is clearly because they gave it too specific a name for the redesign. I think these should be merged. See above. This has the same basic application and JP name as the <s>Fresh Juice</s> Fright Mask. The English translation gave it too specific a name, so when the vaguely-named-in-origin-language item got a rename that still followed those parameters but not the translated ones, it needed retranslated...yet still had a too-specific name.

#Trig Jegman simply put, they're two visually different objects in two different games. While similar in function, I don't see them as the same item (even if the JP name is the same. We don't merge Mushroom and Mushroom in a Can, despite different appearances with the same function, because that is why they are different things.

@Trig What is this "Mushroom in a Can" you speak of? If it's Shroom Shake, then no, that game already had Mushrooms in it acting like Super Mario Mushrooms. Additionally, this has the exact same amount of visual differences between PM and TTYD as Sleepy Sheep, ie the item itself looks totally different, but the attack FX look the same (in the case of the Frights, both summon a huge specter of Bowser to jumpscare enemies away). As further note, the items both have verbs as the JP names, interestingly enough. Another similar case is Mystery Box, which we have merged with its original form, a pouch called "Mystery?" in English.
