I'm betting he's Boomerang Mario. Mario in a Hammer Bro. Suit was actually called Hammer Mario. I expect that this one should be the same; Mario in a Boomerang Bro. Since the article says, and I quote "This article's title might be represented alternatively as Boomerang Mario, Boomerang Luigi, Boomerang Toad, Boomerang Princess Peach or Boomerang Rosalina", shouldn't it have images of those characters? Watcher of Game (talk)
