The Tacks is a basic item found in Mario Kart Arcade GP and its sequel, Mario Kart Arcade GP 2. It is just some ordinary gold nails. If used, the player would throw this item backwards. If a rival runs over this item, the rival's tires would be temporary flat; making the rival hard to control the Kart. This item is useful if the rivals are driving too fast.
