Super Mario Bros. is a microgame found in the Nintendo Classics folder in WarioWare, Inc.: Minigame Mania. The game is also a boss stage in WarioWare: Twisted!. It later appeared in WarioWare: Touched! and WarioWare: Smooth Moves.

Gameplay

The objective of the game is to squash the Goombas by jumping on them.

In the Grid, a minimum of 15 levels must be beaten to beat this Microgame.

  • 1st level difficulty: Stomp on a Goomba.
  • 2nd level difficulty: Stomp on two Goombas.
  • 3rd level difficulty: Stomp on three Goombas.

Controls

  • Move: D-Pad.
  • Jump: A.

Description

"The Goombas need a good 'ol squashing! You know the drill: land on their heads, not their sides!"

Gameplay

The purpose of the game is to get to the castle without getting defeated by the enemies.

  • 1st level difficulty: Play through World 1-1 that has few enemies and cliffs.
  • 2nd level difficulty: Play through World 1-2 that has more enemies and cliffs.
  • 3rd level difficulty: Play through World 1-3 that has many enemies and cliffs.

A minimum of 5 points must be earned to complete this microgame.

WarioWare: Touched!

There are two variations of Super Mario Bros. that appear in this game.

Game 1: Collect the Coins

Gameplay

The objective is to tap the ? Blocks and collect a specific number of coins. The player can also tap a hidden Coin Block to earn coins as well.

The player must get 20 points to clear this microgame.

  • 1st level difficulty: Collect two coins.
  • 2nd level difficulty: Collect four coins.
  • 3rd level difficulty: Collect six coins.

Controls

Use the touch screen to hit the coin blocks.

"Bump the blocks to get some coins! Don't forget the hidden blocks!"

Game 2: Defeat the Enemies

Gameplay

The objective is to tap the on-screen enemies to defeat them. Enemies such as Koopa Troopas and Buzzy Beetles need to be tapped once to make them hide in their shells, and once more to make them slide across the ground, just like in the games. This move could be used to defeat other enemies like Spiny, which are the only enemies in the microgame that cannot be tapped to make them defeated or hide in their shells.

This microgame is won if all the enemies are removed from the screen. In the Grid, the player needs to score 25 points to pass this microgame.

  • 1st level difficulty: Poke three foes.
  • 2nd level difficulty: Poke four foes.
  • 3rd level difficulty: Poke five or more foes.

Use the touch screen to attack enemies.

WarioWare: Smooth Moves

Gameplay

The objective is to collect two coins by swinging the Wii Remote upwards to hit Coin Blocks or ? Blocks. Additionally, when Mario jumps, he does not raise his hand, but raises a Wii Remote.

  • 1st level difficulty: Mario will be as Super Mario and will stand still under a Coin Block.
  • 2nd level difficulty: Mario will be as Super Mario and will be running under ? Blocks.
  • 3rd level difficulty: Mario will be as Small Mario and will be running under ? Blocks, and he must dodge either a bottomless pit or a Goomba.
