Mario, gaining the Super Boots in Paper Mario.

The Super Boots are found in Boo's Mansion in Paper Mario and The Great Tree in Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door. They increase the power of Mario's Jump attack and allow him to do the trademark Spin Jump in and out of battle. In Paper Mario, the Spin Jump becomes part of Mario's basic jump attack, while the Super Boots in Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door grant him an extra attack named Spin Jump. Once Mario finds the Ultra Boots, however, he loses the Super Boots.

In Paper Mario, the Super Boots are green, while in Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door, they're blue.
