In Perspective Change mode, the camera's angle changes to view the player from behind, and the screen does not automatically scroll. Additionally, instead of having three hearts, the player has no extra tries when he or she falls off; the minigame automatically ends when he or she falls.

Template:Minigame-infobox Skyjinks is a Free-for-All minigame in Mario Party 9. The name is a pun on "sky" and "hijinx". This minigame is similar to both Platform Peril from Mario Party and Mario Party 2 and Sick and Twisted from Mario Party 8.

The players are seen jumping on platforms. Landing on wooden boards, the characters stop and the minigame begins.
